Tulip ‘China Pink’
£3.50 – £6.75
Softly pink goblet-shaped blooms
Sugar-pink, lily-flowered China Pink is sure to be a charmer in the late spring garden.
We grow it with reds and purples like ‘Black Parrot’ and ‘Doll’s Minuet’.
Light: full sun
Soil: well drained sand, clay, loam, chalk, moderately fertile
Type: lily flowered tulip
Bulb size 10/11cm
The lily-flowered tulips have smaller flowers than other tulips, with pointed ends to the petals. The sugary flowers of China Pink look fantastic with deep purple Black Parrot, Spring Green or daffodils such as Thalia.
Care: plant in autumn 10 – 15cm deep, after the first cold snap, the deeper the better for the tulip to return. Add grit to wet or heavy soils.
