Ranunculus asiaticus ‘Pauline Violet’
A more unusual variety
Originating from the Eastern Mediterranean, the Persian buttercup produces peony-type flowers with many petals up to 5cm across. Perfect for the border and cutting. Pauline Violet is a rare deep purple-violet variety.

Light: full sun
Soil: well-drained soil, pots
Care: plant in autumn about 3cm deep and 10cm apart. Soak the tubers for 12 hours before planting as they swell up considerably. Prefers full sun. Might not be fully hardy in the coldest and wettest areas.
