Cheerfulness is a bit special and has been a favourite since its introduction in the 1920s. It’s not hard to see why.
The very fragrant, multiheaded double flowers are borne in mid spring and can be naturalised. Although you might want to keep these in a pot for close-up viewing and for their scent!
Tazetta daffodils have smaller flowers than some others, but there are several per stem.
Care: plant in autumn at 10 – 15cm deep (two times the depth of the bulb). Add grit to heavy or wet soil.
