Muscari latifolium ‘Grape Ice’
Deep purple with a white tip
‘Grape Ice’ is a new and very lovely coloured muscari. As it is a variety of M. latifolium (our favourite), it is a well-behaved muscari with broader, tidier leaves than M. armenicum varieties.
Month: March – April
Light: full sun, partial shade
Soil: well drained, moderately fertile
Bulb size: 6cm+
We grew this for the first time inspiring 2018 and our garden visitors adored it. We also put a few in pots and they sold out very quickly. This is a stunning new muscari.
Care: plant 10cm deep in autumn. Lift and divide when dormant in summer.
