Siberian Lily is the common name of this unusual late spring/early summer flower, not often seen in UK gardens.

This pretty violet blue/indigo flower appears in May or June and is quite long-lasting. It is also deer and rabbit resistant and makes a lovely cut flower.
The flowers begin funnel-shaped and then open fully to several stars per stem.
Care: plant at 8cm deep in autumn.
