Allium ‘White Cloud’
Very tightly packed flower heads
A new white allium from 2016. Very densely packed heads of creamy white flowers, different to other white alliums.
The flower buds have beautiful pointed caps like elves wear, and have a pink glow before they open.
The density of the flowers makes them look like billowy clouds. A later allium, it flowers from June or July.
Month: June – August
Light: full sun, partial shade
Soil: well drained
Bulb size:top size
Although this is a fairly tall allium, its bulbs are small compared to other alliums.
These bulbs should return year after year and multiply where happy.
Care: plant in the autumn at 10cm deep. Add grit if soil is heavy and/or wet. Will do best in full sun.
