Ivory cream flowers with a darker throat on this dwarf gladiolus.
Month: June – August
Light: full sun, partial shade
Care: Plant from the end of March, 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart. Add grit to the bottom of the hole for additional drainage. Plant in succession every two weeks to give a long-lasting display of flowers. Lift when foliage dies back, discard old corms and store new corms in a dry frost-free place until planting in the spring. In mild areas they may be fine with a thick, dry mulch such as shredded bark as long as the soil is free-draining, but it is more usual to lift and store them. Alternatively grow in pots and move to a frost-free position in autumn. Protect from slugs.
