Lemon-yellow flowers in a similar form to crown imperials, F. raddeana is shorter and less formal. A beautiful flower for a mixed spring border.

F. raddeana produces its roots in the autumn and then grows quickly in the spring. They will need shelter from the wind as they are tall early flowers but are very cold-hardy.
Care: Plant in autumn 15-20cm deep in well-drained soil. Needs a dry summer rest. Plant on arrival if possible.
