With alliums and hardy geraniums, camassia provide useful colour in late spring/early summer between spring bulbs and summer herbaceous plants and shrubs.
Care: plant in autumn at 10-15cm deep. Camassia like being damp in spring when growing but don’t mind dry soils in summer. Add grit to heavy or wet soils.
