Postage and delivery
We will deliver to all parts of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Unlike other websites, we use tiers of post and packing charges to try and make it as fair as possible*. Unfortunately this system looks a little complicated but it should mean that if you only want to place a small order, you won’t pay excessive postage.
A guide to costs**:
Lightweight items, such as our printed gift vouchers: £1.50
Small flower bulbs and gifts: £3.75
Large bulbs, small bags: £3.75
Large bulbs, large bags: £5.95
Potted plants: £5.95
Large, heavy or awkward items and large pots: £7.45
The website will add postage based on the highest rate depending on the items in your shopping cart.
You will see the charge when you add items to your basket.
If your order weighs between 2kg and 4kg it may be sent in two parcels.
Scottish Highlands & Islands, N.Ireland and UK offshore islands – orders weighing more than 4kg, larger or awkward-shaped items will incur an additional postage charge according to weight or size. We will get in touch after you have placed your order. Alternatively, please get in touch with your order ready and we should be able to give you a quote.
We’re really sorry but postage costs to these areas are much higher than the rest of the UK and being only a small company we cannot absorb the difference.
Orders will be sent as soon as possible after payment. We aim to have them in the post by the next working day. We apologise for any delays during busy periods, but we will do our best to get your goods to you as quickly as possible.
Ideally we are working towards one low, flat rate of postage but for now we need to charge postage at cost. It also helps to keep the price of our products down.
We apologise that after reviewing our postage charges recently, we have found it necessary to increase prices slightly. Unfortunately it is the cost of packaging that has necessitated this raise.
Please note: Some items are available to order but are not in stock. These items will be labelled ‘available on backorder’ or ‘available within 2 – 4 weeks’. Please allow sufficient time for delivery on these items. Very occasionally, especially during busy periods, it can take our growers and suppliers some time to send these to us and they may exceed the time limit suggested. If these items are not available you will be refunded.
You have 14 days to change your mind about your order. You need to inform us by email within 14 days that you no longer want your items.
Goods MUST be returned in their original condition, in their original, unopened packaging, within 7 days of informing us, to obtain a refund.
You are responsible for the return postage. We will not refund the initial postage.
Goods MUST be securely packaged for postage. The goods remain your responsibility until they have been received by us. Any damage or losses in the post on the way back to us cannot be refunded. Goods must arrive in the condition they were sent in. Please get proof of postage so you can claim for these events if necessary.
Cancellations do not apply to perishable goods such as bulbs and plants.
We reserve the right to cancel any order.
If there are any issues with the conditions of the goods when you receive them, please get in touch with us WITHIN 48 HOURS.
Please take photos and send them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to demonstrate what it is you are not happy with.
Any goods damaged upon receipt will be refunded or replaced.
Flower bulbs and plants
Flower bulbs and plants are perishable items. Please follow the flower bulb care information on our website for best results.
We cannot be held responsible if these guidelines are not followed. For example, if the bulbs are not planted within the suggested time frame, if they are not planted in the suggested fashion, or if bulbs are not stored in the suggested way and ultimately develop a problem growing to their full potential.
We take great care in the storage and packaging of our bulbs to ensure they arrive with you in optimum condition. Please be aware bulbs and plants are living organisms and therefore may not grow as expected. Very occasionally they may not grow at all. In some cases, where plants can be slow to establish, they may not appear to be growing but can remain dormant until the following year (e.g. chasmanthe).
Please bear in mind that bulbs such as crocus and narcissi will often naturalise well and increase each year, others such as tulips might not perform as well after their first year and could need replacing regularly.

**This is just a guide. The majority of items on the website will comply with this, however, some items may be priced differently depending on their weight or size. Some areas of the UK incur significantly higher postage costs.
